New to Betcamp? Here’s how to find your way around

Find the right section, understand the details and decide at your own pace.

Official Betcamp banner

You open Betcamp to look for a match. A few taps later, you’re looking at live events, casino games and virtual listings. Where did the fixture go?

The sections do different jobs. Knowing where to look saves you from opening the wrong thing, and gives you more space to understand what is on the screen.

1. Start with the event you mean

If the match hasn’t started, look in Upcoming. If it is already in progress, Live is the section to check. Confirm the teams, competition and event time rather than relying on a familiar team name alone.

It sounds obvious until you realise you’re looking at a different fixture. A short check now is easier than trying to untangle a mistake afterwards.

2. Keep the product sections separate

Casino and Live Casino have their own sections. Virtual also has separate listings. Opening one does not tell you the rules for another, so read the information attached to the particular game.

3. Read what you’re about to confirm

Before anything is confirmed, check the market or game name, your stake, the displayed possible return and the settlement terms. Ask yourself whether you could explain what needs to happen for that entry to qualify.

If the answer is no, pause. A familiar team or an attractive-looking return does not replace understanding the market. If an offer is involved, check its own terms as well.

4. Make the budget decision before the game decision

Your food, transport, rent, bills and savings need to stay outside your play budget. Only consider money you could lose without affecting those needs. If there is nothing left after them, skipping play is a reasonable decision.

Set a stopping time too. If you reach either your spending or time limit, stop rather than treating another entry as a way to repair a loss.

Keep the next step simple

Find the right section. Check the event or game. Read the conditions. Then decide whether to take part. You don’t need to rush because someone else has already chosen.
